Research Interests:
Dr. Scheimann’s research interests include non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and
Prader-Willi syndrome. In particular Dr. Scheimann serves on the Scientific
Advisory Board of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA) and consults
regularly on gastrointestinal complications of persons with Prader-Willi
syndrome. She is the Scientific Co-Chair of this 1st International Hyperphagia
Conference.
She currently is studying the “Impact of Dietary Content upon Gastrointestinal
Motility in Individuals with PWS” under a grant funded by the Prader-Willi
Syndrome Association (USA)
